Eat a variety of proteins. Don’t make it all steak. Have fish once in a while, or chicken. Try tossing some tofu into your next omelet. Or go completely vegetarian for one meal, and have a chili made of many different types of beans.

Most of us have accumulated POUNDS of red meat, fat, toxins and contaminates in the first 30-40 years of life and expect to have that problem resolved in 2-3 or 4 weeks. NOT going to happen! Our foods contain only a portion of the nutrients and vitamins our parents enjoyed and the home made dog food removes even more. This is going to require a life style change and a much greater use of the five letter word.
Another thing to remember is to check out weight-loss program functions. Food processors come with slicing blades, which are useful for certain recipes. The more functions a processor has, the more kinds of recipes you can do. People who are fond of cooking should invest in processors that come with a good range of functions. If you do not spend too much time in the kitchen, consider buying a processor with limited functions, which is also cheaper.
Most people are consuming ten times more than that. A good idea would be to cut down on processed and fast foods. Restaurants and global food products companies can really pile on the salt causing more health problems than what you bargained for. It can be hard to avoid eating on the go, but it is not impossible. Taking fish oil for blood pressure can decrease your chances of developing problems associated with eating this way.
There’s another one I’ve just learned about from Germany and it’s called a Spiralo. If you do like a parsnip, beet, carrot, and turn it into this little skinny pasta — I’ve done this at shows and little kids have walked by and I’ve got it on the table next to the machine to show what it does, and these little three year olds will grab it and eat it. The mother or the grandmother will go, “I can’t believe it, he won’t eat any vegetables!” Something about cutting that vegetable into facets, let’s say, really brings out the sweetness like no grating or slicing ever could.
