It’s easy to consider at first Elsword is just a button mashing pseudo-mmo but there is a lot of depth to the game once you get beyond the ancient experience. They do a great job of laying everything out simply and then layering the sophistication on top of it, so you know everything in a means which makes sense and consequently it doesn’t seem all that complicated. But if you were to jump to the end game many people would immediately become in way over their heads. This is our Elsword review.
One of the first things I noticed with Elsword is there’s a huge assortment of choice built into a restricted structure. There are twelve characters you can choose between and every one of these have their own narrative and character that makes them different from one another. Furthermore, each character delivers a range of sophistication and battle rate that give a lot of playstyle variation. They also each have three distinct base jobs they start off together and each job has two more jobs that are evolutions of their base tasks and uncover as progress is made through the game. So, while the participant doesn’t have the freedom to make their own character from scratch there is a lot to choose from.
With no extra effort I just followed the storyline and did quests and the second task as unlocked fast. The third job nonetheless felt like it took considerably longer to do but that isn’t an unusual system for most matches where the higher amounts come considerably slower. It didn’t slow to the point where I felt as though I was never going to get there or like the grind was excruciating though.
