IATEFL 2016

I’m in Birmingham for IATEFL for a few days so hope to blog a little about some of the sessions I see here with a particular focus on any connected to technology and EAP (ideally both!)

Gloriously bad weather as I arrived here today, torrential rain and a nice long walk to the hotel sans umbrella to soak it all in. This is the attractive and wet view from my window.

Anyhow, I’ll try to write a post for each of the days I’m here summarising the most interesting sessions I attended. If you see nothing from me, assume there’s been nothing interesting (and don’t assume that it’s because I’ve been down the pub all the time)

About David Read

I work at the English Language Teaching Centre at the University of Sheffield as the Director of TEL (technology-enhanced learning). I've been an EFL/EAP teacher and teacher trainer for over 20 years and have worked in 14 different countries. Settling down is clearly an issue for me.
