People using Windows 11 and 10 are now experiencing a bug that keeps sending notifications to allow a change in the time zone. This happens even though no alteration has taken place. The problem was highlighted by Windows Latest, which also got these alerts.
These notifications seem to be in a loop. This implies that the user will be asked to accept or ignore this request many times within one day. When you click accept, the Date & Time settings page opens, but no actual change is made to any setting.
Microsoft has recognized the issue, stating that they are aware of a problem in which time zone changes are wrongly detected in a few rare cases, and it is being fixed. The company is also investigating the main cause of this issue and might be able to resolve it on the server end.
