What if you could browse the web without using a search engine and get the appropriate results for your search? Sounds like a dream, not anymore. With Arc browser‘s new feature, Instant Links, it is possible.

Instant Links is a feature that uses AI to find answers to your queries without going to a search engine and annoying ads on them, accompanying search results. For example, if you want to learn about the latest iOS 18 and WWDC conference 2024, you can ask Arc’s AI bot, and it will add suitable links as an open tab in your sidebar.

This feature eliminates the need for a search engine and is the fastest way to find answers to your queries. It uses AI technologies from OpenAI and the search results are replaced with links in the sidebar in new tab. Currently, the feature is only available for macOS with version 1.28.0 or later.

  1. Launch the Arc browser on your Macbook.
  2. Click Arc from the menu bar and select Settings from the context menu. You can also press Cmd + , to open the Settings page.
  3. Go to the Max tab on the Settings page, then toggle on the switch for Instant Links.arc browser instant links
  1. Click the New tab option from the sidebar or press Cmd + T to open it.
  2. Type in the query, and instead of Enter, press Shift + Enter.Instant links 1

  • Multiple queries at once – You can enter multiple queries at once. For example, you can type videos of Selena Gomez’s People You Know, Lose You To Love Me, and Who Says, then press Shift + Enter
  • Create a folder – If you wish to create a folder for a query, type folder of latest movie recommendations from Pickamovieforme and press Shift + Enter. Arc will create a folder with pinned tabs with different links.
