If apps on your Windows 10 are not running correctly, you need to repair the apps and programs on your device. You can use the Windows Settings app, Control Panel, or a third-party app for this. Let’s examine the process in detail.

How can I repair apps and programs in Windows 11?

1. Using the Settings app

  1. Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.

  3. From the left pane, click Apps & features.
  4. On the right side, you will see a list of installed apps. Go through the list and locate the app or program you want to repair.

  7. This will repair the program, and your app-related data, including login credentials, will not be affected.
  8. If this doesn’t help, you can use the Reset button, which will delete all the app’s data.

However, if you don’t find the Advanced options option for the app you want to repair, you need to uninstall the program. To do so, locate the app, click the three-dot icon, and choose Uninstall. Once done, restart your PC if prompted.

2. Using the Control Panel app

  2. Type control panel and select the first entry to launch the Control Panel app.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to repair the app or program.
  6. If you don’t get the Change button, click the Uninstall button to remove the app and follow the steps to complete the uninstallation process.
  7. Restart your computer if prompted.

You can also try third-party uninstaller tools to uninstall the programs or apps on your Windows 11 computer.

These tools allow you to delete an app from your computer and remove associated junk files and registry entries, thereby optimizing PC performance and retrieving storage space.
